Therapy sessions in my office last for 50 minutes.
My rates vary based on office location, but generally range from $140 - $170 per session.
Therapy is most effective when we are able to meet once per week, so I advise new patients to plan to attend once weekly.
I am not in-network with any insurance providers. However, I am considered an out-of-network provider for most PPO health plans. This means that – rather than pay a co-pay for visits – you would pay me directly for each session and at the end of the month, I can provide you a Super Bill to submit to your insurance company. Most PPO plans will provide reimbursement for some portion of fees paid. The amount reimbursed varies by plan.
Unfortunately, Kaiser plans do not accept Super Bills. I do see patients who have Kaiser insurance or other HMO plans, but in those cases, you would be responsible for the full fee.
In some instances, I am able to negotiate a Single Case Agreement with insurance providers, which allows our sessions to be treated as though I were in-network with the insurance company. I enter these agreements on a case-by-case basis and require an initial assessment with you to determine if a Single Case Agreement is clinically appropriate.
FREE CONSULTATION CALL
Prior to scheduling a first session, I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation. In this call, you can share a bit with me about what you are looking for help with and ask me whatever questions you may have. We can also discuss insurance questions during this time.
